New Pictures

“New Pictures” is a little piece written for an 8-string bass where the top two pairs of strings had non-standard tunings. This tuning is closely related (and certainly inspired by) Chris Squire’s Ranney 8-string bass tuning.

I wish to dedicate this track to Chris Squire. I would like to thank Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Alan White, Steve Howe and all past members of Yes for their music - a source of dreams, a mirror of life.
