Sun King
was conceived back in the days when The Naming were a three
piece. In addition to Sun King Neil & John mixed 6 other
tracks, completing the Sun King album. This version was engineered,
mixed and produced by Neil & John in the summer of 1997.
Sun King,
No-one, Nothing comes close.
Sun King, No-one, Nothing comes close to you.
We speak to burn the iceman,
In his Day-Glo wilderness.
To call in shifting whispers,
Through the forest of dreaming,
Across the bridge of swirling future memory,
Feeding the flame of fire rise.
Sun King.
Sun King, No-one, Nothing comes close.
Sun King, No-one, Nothing comes close...
...To you.
The Naming
were formed a few years back and spent some time emptying pubs of
their audiences. After a brief hiatus John joined the band on keyboards
and along with Neil revisited The Naming back catalogue,
adding keyboard parts, replacing guitar, vocal, bass and drum parts,
rearranging some songs and completing others. In true latter-day
progressive tradition The Naming have done nothing for about
3 years...
The Naming are based at No Machine Studios in Wokingham,
Berkshire, UK.
